Review:
A wonderful recording of this famous piece by Verdi on the Telarc label. This piece was recorded in the Symphony Hall, Atlanta, on April 11, 12 & 14 in 1987.

I like the live one I recorded from a Prom concert broadcast. It was just after the air attacks on the US, and has an urgency and anger that make the Dies Irae and Tuva Mirum really intense. That music has it in there anyway, something like dropping a nuke on something to settle it. I'm glad Verdi was a musician, not a poltician. :)
